This position is for a Paraeducator at an elementary school, assisting in creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment that supports each child's development.
Assist with planning, implementing, and documenting curriculum activities across developmental areas.
Support individual student needs, respect cultural backgrounds, and promote self-concept.
Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and parent meetings, collaborating with staff and families.
Provide for students' physical needs, including diapering.
Qualifications: Associate Degree or 60 college credits, or a qualifying score on the ParaPro Assessment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, or hold children, respond quickly to emergencies, and participate in physical activities.
Terms: 10-month work year, employment approval by the school board, with performance evaluations conducted per policy.
