POSITION DESCRIPTION
The GSRP Para assists the teacher in developing daily lesson plans, preparing materials, and providing children with developmentally appropriate experiences. The GSRP Para works with the staff to maintain materials, equipment, and facilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR an associate's degree (AA) in early childhood education or child development or the equivalent preferred, OR an existing 120 Clock Hour approval letter from the MDE or willingness to obtain within 3 years.
LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS: Ability to speak and write effectively. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
