$22.50-$30.15 per hour; Initial placement is restricted to a maximum of Step 5 ($27.35/hr) for external applicants. Internal employees who have completed 14 and/or 20 years of uninterrupted service to the District, shall be granted a longevity step.

These positions are under the Special Education Department and are assigned based on need at the time of hire.

Test Date

There will be multiple testing dates for this position. You will be invited via Edjoin as the dates are scheduled.

Interview Dates

Interviews are held for these positions every Wednesday afternoon through the 2026/2027 school year with the exception of a few dates. If selected for interview, you will be contacted with the specific date and time.

NCLB Requirement

To be considered for this position, you must meet one of the following three requirements: (1) pass the written test; (2) possess an AA degree; or (3) have at least 48 college semester units. Please note that we do not accept certificates from other districts.

Requirement

This position requires passing a physical involving pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying at time of hire.

These positions are Para-Educator Severe positions under the Special Education Department and are assigned based on need at the time of hire. All are six hour positions with varying schedules. Some examples of schedules are 8:00 a.m. - 2:40 p.m. OR 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
