Paper Converting Production Operator

Schedule & Compensation

• 12-hour shifts: days (6am–6pm) or nights (6pm–6am)
• 2-2-3 schedule
• NO SWING SHIFT
• Pay range: $18–$25 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, observe, and adjust production equipment (extrusion machines, rewinders, slitters)
• Handle setups and material loading for each run
• Perform efficient order changeovers
• Inspect quality, then package, stack, and stage goods for shipment
• Follow all PPE and safety standards without exception

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machine operation experience (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Paper converting or nonwovens experience preferred
• Positive attitude and strong motivation to learn

Physical Demands

• Lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly

Skills & Equipment

• Mechanical troubleshooting and machine setup for production runs
• Plastic extrusion experience; familiarity with nonwovens
• Regular use of extrusion machines, slitter machines, and wrapping machines
