    We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our inpatient palliative care team. In this specialized role, you will provide comprehensive, consultation-based palliative care services to patients and families facing serious, life-limiting illnesses within the hospital setting.

    Position Overview

    We areseekinga compassionate, skilled, and dedicatedAdvanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)to join our inpatient palliative care team. In this specialized role, you will provide comprehensive, consultation-based palliative care services to patients and families facing serious, life-limiting illnesses within the hospital setting.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Clinical Consultations: Conduct comprehensive palliative care assessments, including detailed symptom management, physical exams, andpsychosocial evaluationsfor hospitalized patients.

    • Complex Communication: Lead andfacilitatechallenging family meetings, goals-of-care conversations, and difficult end-of-life and medical decision-making discussions with clarity and empathy.

    • Care Coordination: Serve as a vital bridge between the primary hospital care teams, specialists, patients, and families. 

    • Interdisciplinary Collaboration:Work seamlessly alongside hospitalists, specialists, social workers, and chaplains to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Required:

    • Licensure:Must hold an active, unencumbered license as anAdvanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)in the State of Texas.

    • Certification:Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioneror ClinicalNurse Specialist(e.g., AGACNP,FNP,ACGNPor CNS).

    • Authority:Active Texas prescriptive authority and DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).

    • Future Certification:Must achieve a recognizedPalliative Care / Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (ACHPN)certification withintwo (2) yearsof joining the practice.

    • Exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a proven ability to navigate high-stress clinical situations.

    • Participation in our on-call poolproviding after hourssupport andweekend in person rounding on GIP patients.

    • Preferred:

    • Minimum of 1–2 years of dedicated experience inHospice or Palliative Carenursing or advanced practice.

    •  Strong background in acute care, geriatrics, or intensive care environments.

    Compensation Range:

    $108,466.00

    to

    $162,698.00

    The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
