Pallet Packer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Pallet Packer to join our team in Sandusky, OH.

Hours: 6:00am-2:30/3:30pm Monday-Saturday. Saturday's ARE mandatory.
Pay: $13/hr. + incentive during Peak Season

Responsibilities:

• Scan label on orders with RF scanner to start packing/shipping process
• Verify correct pallet amounts and order numbers
• Verify shipping address if multiple orders for one customer
• Create shipping labels for product
• Scan product to correct shipping labels and verify quantities to be shipped
• Pack smaller products into shipping boxes and apply correct labels
• Remove any extra product or retrieve any missing product for orders before shipping
• Stack boxes for shipping onto pallets in line with shipping requirements
• Move pallets to staging area to get wrapped and loaded onto trucks

• Experience using a handheld/ RF scanner.
• Prior packing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience using a pallet jack
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to accurately read measurements and use a tape measure
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, keep up with other departments to not hinder production and shipping requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
• Ability to lift and move products as required, up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand continuously, bending, twisting, and/or squatting may be required
• Flexible to work overtime with little to no notice
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
