Title: Palantir Foundry Engineer
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote (Only EST/CST)
Client Location: Atlanta, GA
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry Engineer with a minimum
of 3 years of hands-on Palantir Foundry development experience to
design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale data and operational
solutions.
The successful candidate will have deep practical experience developing
within the Foundry ecosystem, including data pipelines, transformations,
Ontology, and Foundry-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and
transformation workflows in Palantir Foundry.
• Build complex data transformations using Python, PySpark,
and SQL.
• Design and implement Foundry Ontology objects, properties,
relationships, and actions.
• Develop analytical and operational applications using
Foundry Workshop and related Foundry capabilities.
• Integrate enterprise data from databases, APIs, cloud
platforms, and other source systems.
• Build and maintain datasets using Pipeline Builder and
Code Repositories.
• Implement data-quality controls, lineage, governance,
monitoring, and access controls.
• Optimize Foundry pipelines and applications for
performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines, integrations, and application
issues.
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, product
owners, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into
production solutions.
• Apply software-engineering best practices including
version control, automated testing, CI/CD, documentation, and code
reviews.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Palantir Foundry development
experience.
• Demonstrated production experience building and deploying
solutions using Palantir Foundry.
• Strong hands-on experience with Foundry Ontology, Pipeline
Builder, Code Repositories, and Workshop.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark/Spark.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise-scale
ETL/ELT and data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture,
and data-quality principles.
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, cloud platforms,
and enterprise data sources.
• Experience with Git-based development, testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Palantir AIP and AIP Logic.
• Experience with Foundry APIs and SDKs.
• Experience developing Ontology-driven operational
applications.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Palantir Foundry certifications or formal Palantir
training.
• Experience delivering Foundry solutions in large
enterprise environments.
