Painting Services Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painting Services Technician to join our team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality painting, trim carpentry, and light handyman services to residential clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, enjoy working indoors, and take pride in precise, clean results. As a Painting Services Technician, you will operate a fully equipped company painting rig and manage projects across your assigned territory.

We are a new, rapidly growing company that invests heavily in marketing to build a steady client base to fill your territory and calendar. You will be responsible for completing interior and specialty painting projects, as well as minor handyman and trim work, independently. This position starts part-time with paid training and transitions to full-time as your schedule fills. The goal is to optimize your territory, build strong client relationships, and eventually operate your route at maximum capacity. This is a W-2 position offering year-round hours and income, with clear advancement opportunities and bonus potential.

This position offers:

• 2 weeks of paid training at $15/hr.
• Upon completion of training, you will earn $20/hr for the following 90 days.
• Upon completion of the 90 day period, you will begin making $25/hr
• Once route is optimized and at capacity, you can earn a base salary of $50,000/year with bonus and commission potential.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and specialty painting projects, including accent walls, nurseries, and premium finishes.

• Complete minor trim carpentry and handyman tasks as needed.

• Follow company-provided standard operating procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality results.

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while communicating effectively with clients and supervisors.

• Operate and maintain painting equipment, brushes, tools, and supplies safely and efficiently.

• Drive and care for company vehicles and painting rigs.

• Manage materials and keep your rig stocked and ready for daily operations.

• Perform other related duties as needed to maintain client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Experience & Requirements

• Previous experience in painting, trim carpentry, or handyman work preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with interior and specialty painting techniques.

• Ability to operate painting and carpentry tools safely and effectively.

• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be comfortable driving a company vehicle and towing an enclosed trailer.

• Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to safety.
