What you'll do
- Prep rooms: protect floors and furniture, mask, sand, and spot-prime as needed
- Paint walls, ceilings, trim, and doors to a clean, even finish
- Match color and sheen; cut in clean lines; roll large areas efficiently
- Touch up after drywall patches and work alongside hangers and helpers
- Keep the site covered and clean; leave the job complete and ready for the next step
- Talk clearly with your lead and the office about materials, timing, and customer notes
- Learn drywall repair basics if you want to grow into a fuller repair role (we train)
A typical day
You start around 8am, drive a company vehicle to the job site, and work until about 4pm, Monday through Friday. Most days are inside homes: ladders, dust, careful prep, and finish that homeowners will see up close. The work is physical. You stand, climb, lift paint and equipment, and move room to room. We want people who take pride in a sharp line and a tidy site.
Must-haves
- Painting experience (residential or commercial)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to meet the crew / pick up the company vehicle
- Able to work on ladders, lift and carry materials, and handle a physical trade job Mon-Fri
- Willing to learn drywall repair with our crew
Nice to have
- Drywall patch or repair experience
- Experience in occupied homes (clean work habits around customers)
