Painter/Coating Technician | $20.00/hr
Full-Time | Tuesday - Friday | 6:00am – 4:30pm
If you take pride in quality work and have experience painting and coating metal, this opportunity is for you!! Join an established manufacturing company in Blue Earth, MN that has been building quality truck equipment since 1963. This hands-on position involves preparing steel and aluminum surfaces and applying paint and coatings to truck bodies, hoists, and other equipment.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare steel, aluminum, and other metal surfaces for painting and coating applications.
- Mix and apply primers, paints, and coatings using spray equipment.
- Operate, clean, and maintain spray guns and other painting equipment.
- Inspect finished work for runs, streaks, blistering, rust, and other quality issues and make corrections as needed.
- Follow proper safety procedures for handling, storage, and disposal of paints, solvents, and hazardous materials.
What you’ll need:
- Previous experience preparing metal surfaces and applying paint or industrial coatings.
- Knowledge of spray equipment, coating products, proper mixing, and application techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and high standards.
- Ability to safely work with abrasives, solvents, chemicals, and required PPE, including respirators.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, reaching, stretching, and standing for extended periods.
What you’ll get:
- $20.00/hr + DOE
- Weekly pay – every Friday
