Manufacturing Paint Technician
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Pay: $36.14/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Paint Technician to support paint line operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating paint equipment, monitoring quality standards, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safe and efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor paint line equipment and robotic systems.
- Start and stop paint line operations according to production schedules.
- Inspect painted parts to ensure quality and process compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance on paint equipment, applicators, spray guns, and fixtures.
- Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO, grounding, and HSE requirements.
- Support troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and problem-solving initiatives.
Qualifications
- Technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in paint manufacturing or painted parts production.
- Experience with robotics and automated equipment preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and computer skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and production standards.
