Paint Shop Supervisor

Adecco is looking for an individual who is familiar with working in a manufacturing atmosphere and preferably has leadership skills background. Knowledge in Excel and Word preferred. This is a Direct Hire Opportunity! Pay Rate $27-$35 Plus Benefits
Primary Responsibilities:

• Must be able to read blueprints

• Must be versatile with other departments and able to take directions from more than one person and have organizational skills.

• Interface with metal shop, inspection, receiving and production

• Use of liquid and powder coat paint

• Standing in a paint booth for up to 8 hours a day.

• Hang parts on rack after taping up specific areas for non-painted areas.

• Fill in and help in the silkscreen department when necessary.

• Maintain the area and ensure a safe work environment and good safety habits.

• Time management

• Perform routine maintenance

• Manage inventory and order supplies

• Train and support paint shop employees.

• Assign daily work, set priorities, and ensure production schedules are met.

• Ensure paint quality meets customer specifications, drawings, and internal standards.

• Enforce safety policies, PPE usage, and proper handling of chemicals and materials.

• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Supervisor to resolve paint-related issues.

• Support routine inspections and audits

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (MSDS/SDS, waste disposal, ventilation)

Required Qualifications:

• The candidate should be able to lift up to 50#

• Overtime will be expected as needed.

• At least 3 to 5 years’ experience.

 

Pay Details: $27.00 to $35.00 per hour
