As a Paint Prep Operator, you will prepare steel, aluminum, and other parts for painting, and check finished work for quality and accuracy. Responsibilities
- Prepare part surfaces for powder coating by scraping, sanding, priming, masking, sealing, or washing as needed.
- Perform touch-ups on finished parts to help meet appearance and quality standards.
- Load and unload parts, hang and remove items from production lines, and organize finished products.
- Inspect parts for quality and count them to ensure accuracy.
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to support safe, orderly operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
