Phillips Staffing is looking for a 1st Shift Paint Loader for an innovative manufacturer of industrial/agricultural products in Anderson, SC!
Responsibilities: - Inspection of parts for potential defects, blemishes, etc. and correcting the potential defect or blemish by sanding, scrapping
- Prepare final product for top-coat painting
- Remove hanging parts from overheard consisting of 25 – 75 lbs.
- Read and follow instructions for process sheets, blueprints or other specifications to determine paint criteria
- Maintain, operate and troubleshoot operations equipment for continuous work flow
Other Duties: - Maintain a clean/safe work environment while complying with safety and quality standards
- Ability to work with small hand tools, pneumatic and electrical hand tools to apply and remove parts and assemblies
- Ability to make quick and repeated control adjustments of machinery for continuous work flow
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager/supervisor
- Behave in a positive manner that enhances productivity and the success of the company
- Follow all dress code policies including PPE guidelines as specified for the position
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to match or detect differences between colors
- Ability to occasionally lift 25-75 lbs.
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Thursday, Occasional Overtime on Fridays
Pay Rate: $17/Hour
