As a Paint Line Utility Operator, you'll play an important role in supporting our paint line production by: Hanging parts onto the paint line for processing. No previous experience is required—we're happy to train motivated individuals who are ready to learn!

Location: Decatur, AL
Pay: $16.67 per hour / $17.67 per hour
Shift: 1st and 2nd

What You'll Do


As a Paint Line Utility Operator, you'll play an important role in supporting our paint line production by:

•  Hanging parts onto the paint line for processing. 
•  Removing finished parts from the paint line and stacking them on pallets. 
•  Inspecting painted parts for quality, proper paint coverage, and damage. 
•  Maintaining accurate production records and completing required paperwork. 
•  Operating safely while working with paints, chemicals, solvents, and lubricants. 
•  Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe. 
•  Following all company safety, quality, and production procedures. 
•  Assisting with other duties as needed. 
•  Opportunity to train and advance into a Paintline Painter position. 

What We're Looking For

•  Positive attitude and strong work ethic. 
•  Ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. 
•  Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. 
•  Minimum of a 10th-grade education. 
•  No prior experience required—we provide training! 

Physical Requirements


This position is physically active and requires applicants to:

•  Stand for the majority of a 10-hour shift. 
•  Frequently walk, bend, stoop, and reach overhead. 
•  Lift and carry: 
  •  Up to 10 lbs. continuously. 
  •  10–20 lbs. frequently. 
  •  Up to 50 lbs. occasionally. 
•  Work in temperatures ranging from approximately 60°F to 115°F, depending on the season. 
•  Have the ability to distinguish colors and perform visual inspections of painted parts.
