    We’re seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Paint Line Operator - B! The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience, forklift and measuring tool proficiency, strong math and computer skills, and attention to detail for handling production tasks, operating equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

     Requirements 

    We are searching for a candidate with: 

    • Over 2 years of related work experience.
    • Forklift experience
    • Ability to use measuring instruments. (micro-meters and calipers)
    • Strong mathematical ability.
    • Ability to work with fractions and decimals.
    • Ability to read and interpret charts, specifications, and production schedules.
    • Ability to use micrometer and calipers.
    • Solid computer skills (e-mail, excel, oracle)
    • Detail-Oriented nature- Must be able to make decisions, plan, perform and detect faulty equipment.

    Duties and Responsibilities 

    A typical day may include:   

    • Using measuring tools (micrometer and calipers) to check metal gage and roll diameters. Using computer-controlled equipment to monitor / operate line.
    • Using powered industrial forklift to pick-up, tilt, stack and / or transport coils to and from designated storage/ production area.
    • Working with various hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals used in the cleaner, conversion and coater sections, quality lab, coater clean up and line maintenance.
    • Using powered industrial forklift to pick up, tilt, stack and/or transport coils to and from designated storage/production area.
    • Working from production and maintenance schedules as well as direction from paint line supervisor.
    • Following established policies and practices and procedures to ensure product quality, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance.
    • Maintaining working and storage area in a safe, orderly, and neat condition.
    • Performing minor maintenance on equipment and cleaning it when necessary.
    • Maintaining all records in a neat and accurate manner per company and governmental requirements.
    • Any additional responsibilities deemed necessary by leadership.

    • Full Time
    • Onsite: 3rd shift - 12-hour shifts
    • Located in: Lancaster, PA
