Penmac Staffing is hiring an Industrial Painter for a local manufacturing company.  This full-time, temp-to-hire position is perfect for candidates who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing high-quality finishes. Industrial Painters, also known as Spray Painters or Coating Technicians, will apply protective coatings to manufactured parts and ensure quality standards are met. Schedule and Pay:

• Pay: $17.22 per hour 
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday /  6a – 4:30p / Overtime as required

Responsibilities for the Industrial Painter:

• Mix and prepare coatings according to written instructions and procedures.
• Operate spray equipment to apply primer and finish coats on manufactured parts.
• Adjust spray valves and nozzles to control spray width and pressure.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and clean spray tools using solvents.
• Test coating quality (wet film thickness, dry film thickness, pinhole tests).
• Operate a forklift to load/unload parts and place hooks on conveyor lines.
• Follow loading manifests for part sequencing and stencil job numbers on parts.
• Monitor and adjust oven temperatures using gauges and controls.

Requirements for the Industrial Painter:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a loud environment with exposure to fumes and chemicals.
• Previous painting or coating experience is a plus, but training is available.
• Pass Pre-employment background and drug screen.
