A pain management group in the San Diego, California area is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our esteemed pain management practice in the San Diego, California area. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the supervision of physicians. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing comprehensive medical services to a diverse patient population across various age groups and medical needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by supervising physicians, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
- Perform procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections, Botox administration, and other pain management techniques. Must have experience with this
- Provide health coaching and education to patients on preventive care, disease management, and wellness strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Manage patient care responsibilities effectively, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery in an inpatient setting.
Qualifications:
- Must have proficiency in Pain Management, Neurology, Orthopedic Surgery a plus.
- Strong knowledge of airway management techniques and medication administration protocols.
- Proven experience in pain management strategies and health coaching practices.
- Ability to work effectively in an inpatient setting with diverse patient populations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Active California License (Required).
- Ability to commute to and work in San Diego, CA 92101 (Required).
- Willingness to relocate to San Diego, CA 92101 before starting work (Required).
Benefits:
