Paid Search Manager

Build, launch, and directly manage our paid search programs on Google and Bing/Microsoft Ads, Shopify Ads and our paid social programs on platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and TikTok — this is an execution-focused role, not an agency-oversight role. About the role

The Growth Marketing team is responsible for driving new trials and subscribers across our multi-brand portfolio. We're a high performing data driven customer acquisition team that manages a multi-million-dollar media mix that includes Demand Generation, Partner Marketing, Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, TV, Audio, Affiliate, Direct Mail, and more.

What will you be doing?

1. Build, launch, and directly manage our paid search programs on Google and Bing/Microsoft Ads, Shopify Ads and our paid social programs on platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and TikTok — this is an execution-focused role, not an agency-oversight role.
2. Get hands-on in the platforms daily: writing ad copy and social creative briefs, structuring campaigns and ad groups/ad sets, setting and adjusting bids, and managing budgets at the campaign and keyword/audience level in coordination with campaign leads.
1. Closely analyze paid search and paid social metrics, regularly making optimizations and recommendations for improvement.
2. Conduct keyword research and analyze paid search ad copy for optimization opportunities.
3. Plan and execute ongoing A/B tests across bidding strategies, ad copy, creative, audiences, and landing pages to drive continuous improvement.
3. Partner with the SEO team to design and implement strategies for better reporting and SERP coverage.
4. Own conversion tracking and attribution setup (GA4, platform-native conversion tracking) in partnership with Analytics to ensure clean, trustworthy performance data across search and social.

 

What are we looking for?

• 4+ years of hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns, ideally in a multi-brand, subscription, or SaaS environment; experience running paid social campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, or similar) is a strong plus.
• Deep expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing) including video and display.
• Working knowledge of paid social ad platforms (Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads, or similar), including audience building, creative testing, and budget management.
• Strong analytical skills with fluency in GA4, conversion tracking/attribution, and Excel; comfort turning data into clear recommendations.
• Solid understanding of SEM fundamentals: keyword research, bid strategy, audience segmentation, ad copy testing, and quality score optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present performance and strategy to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Experience managing large paid search budgets and optimizing spend to drive ROI
• Experience using AI tools to write copy, make account optimizations, run ad hoc analysis and create automations.
• Experience building, customizing and optimizing WordPress landing pages.
