    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED Preferred
    • Must be at least 18 years of age (or meet state requirements)
    • Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen


    Essential Responsibilities During Training

    • Learn the fundamentals of resident care
    • Assist residents with activities of daily living under supervision
    • Learn infection prevention and safety procedures
    • Develop communication and customer service skills
    • Observe and report changes in resident condition
    • Practice proper documentation techniques
    • Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and respect
    • Successfully complete all classroom and clinical requirements
