RNs must have experience caring for patients recovering from procedures originating from various areas, including the OR, IR, Cath Lab, GI, ECT, and pain procedures, as well as Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Colorectal, ENT, Plastic Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular, Podiatry, Thoracic, and General Surgery. RNs must have worked in a Recovery Room, providing ICU-level care to post-procedural patients, and have successfully completed formal training in post-anesthesia care.
