What You'll Do
  • Provide postoperative care to pediatric and adult patients recovering from surgery
  • Support patients across all major surgical services in a high-volume environment
  • Float to pediatric PACU as needed, caring for patients of all ages
  • Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and Accuvein
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams supporting perioperative patient care
  • Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in Epic EMR
  • Respond promptly to emergent patient needs and emergency situations
What You Need
  • Valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • 1+ year of PACU or Pre/Post Op nursing experience (Critical Care Post Op preferred)
  • Ability to adapt to floating between adult and pediatric PACU environments
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort working in fast-paced surgical/trauma settings
