We are currently seeking a candidate with open availability and 1+ years experience in a manufacturing environment for a client in Columbiana, Ohio!

Shift: 

• Day Shift, Monday- Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM 
• 
  This position may require overtime and possibly Saturdays
  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Repetitively lift aluminum extrusions up to 40 feet long and weighing up to 75 pounds from metal basket carriers to the packing conveyor.
• 
  Gather all materials needed for framing bundles (tape, stretch wrap, cardboard, paper, banding, etc.).
  
• 
  Visually inspect metal during bundling for defects such as burrs, scratches, chips, gouges, dents, bubbles, or die lines, ensuring all pieces meet or exceed customer specifications.
  
• 
  Assemble bundles per foreman’s instructions, using appropriate packing materials.
  
• 
  Assist or operate the cut-back saw station and act as saw helper at the press.
  
• 
  Lift metal from racks and return it after cutting.
  
• 
  Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including housekeeping of the shipping area.
  

Requirements:

• 
  High school diploma or GED.
  
• 
  Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  
• 
  Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  
• 
  Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures or rulers.
  
• 
  Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
  
• 
  Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
