Packer

Perform accurate product counts and quality inspections prior to packing. Complete all required shipping documentation with attention to detail.

We are currently seeking a Packer to join our team in Sandusky, OH. This is a 3rd shift position that trains on 2nd shift. The role involves packing and preparing finished products for shipment, as well as performing basic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.

Hours: Training on 2nd shift – 2pm – 10pm, Mon.- Fri.
Once trained, hours will be 10pm-6am – Sun.-Fri. morning
Pay: $18/hr. during the training period, then $18.50/hr. once moved to 3rd shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate product counts and quality inspections prior to packing
• Package items according to company specifications and standards
• Prepare and organize finished goods for timely shipment
• Complete all required shipping documentation with attention to detail
• Identify and report any defects or quality concerns
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines

Requirements:

• Stable previous work history
• Previous packing & quality checking experience preferred
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Basic math skills (Must be able to pass a math test)
• Must be able to pass preemployment screening
