Warehouse Associate (Packer)

Location: Memphis, TN
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 AM to 10:30 AM

Position Summary

we are seeking a Warehouse Associate (Packer) to support the efficient operation of our Distribution Center. In this role, you will perform a variety of warehouse functions, including order picking, packing, sorting, stacking, and shipping to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

• Use an RF scanner to pick customer orders and a computer to process and pack orders.
• Handle products stored in ambient, refrigerated, and freezer environments.
• Rotate between departments based on business needs.
• Operate specialized warehouse equipment and perform daily equipment inspections.
• Report unsafe conditions and follow all safety procedures.
• Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Verify product codes, lot numbers, quantities, and identify damaged products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within assigned work areas.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; OR
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse or related industry experience in lieu of formal education.

Preferred

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Previous distribution center experience.
• Experience working in a cold-chain environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse setting and requires:

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Working in multiple temperature-controlled environments:
  • Ambient temperature
  • Cooler (approximately 40°F)
  • Freezer (approximately -20°F)
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety vests, steel-toe shoes, body harnesses, gloves, and other equipment as needed.
• Flexibility to work overtime with little or same-day notice when business needs require.
