A food manufacturing facility in Gilroy, CA is seeking reliable General Labor / Packer team members to assist with production, packaging, and warehouse-related tasks. This position involves working on a production line, preparing food products for packaging, inspecting products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Schedule: Varies | Up to 40 hours/week | Up to 7 days/week (as needed)
Pay Rate: $17.40/hr

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Pack and label food products according to company standards
  
• 
  Inspect products for quality, appearance, and proper packaging
  
• 
  Operate basic production and packaging equipment as trained
  
• 
  Load and unload materials and move products throughout the production area
  
• 
  Assemble boxes, containers, and packaging materials
  
• 
  Maintain a clean and organized work area
  
• 
  Follow production schedules and meet daily production goals
  
• 
  Assist production team members and supervisors with general labor duties
  
• 
  Complete basic production paperwork and records as required
  
• 
  Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
  
• 
  Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• 
  Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
  
• 
  Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
  
• 
  Ability to lift and move products or materials as required
  
• 
  Basic understanding of workplace safety and cleanliness
  
• 
  Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  
• 
  Comfortable working around food production equipment and in a production environment
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• 
  Must follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation requirements
  
  Safety & Dress Code (Client Requirements)
  
• Long pants, closed-toe shoes, shirts with sleeves
• No jewelry of any kind
• No nail polish
• Follow safe body mechanics: lifting/bending/stooping/twisting safely; ask for help when needed
