Seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Spray Coating Technician to prepare and operate spray coating equipment, apply coatings to customer parts, perform quality inspections, and ensure compliance with engineering specifications and company procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, a commitment to quality and safety, and the ability to support production demands while mentoring less experienced team members.
Position: Packer/Racker
1st Shift: 37:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Verify completion and sign off for all previous operations.
- Hanging parts to dry and packing them once they are ready.
- Set up and qualify spray booth for production runs in accordance with engineering operation sheets.
- Apply spray coating to customer parts in accordance with operation sheet.
- Perform quality inspections throughout production run per the operation sheet.
- Maintain equipment for proper operation and cleanliness and notify maintenance of any problems.
- Comply with training requirements of hazardous waste management.
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced Sprayers.
- Will perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Responsible for following all safety and processes and procedures.
- Willingness to perform OT requires with little to no notice.
