Packaging Technician

Lift Bridge Brewing Co (LBBC) is a production brewery located in the birthplace of Minnesota, Stillwater.
Description
The Lift Bridge production team is looking for the right person to grow with us. We are seeking a person who is outgoing, quality and safety minded, hard-working, a self starter and of high character. Previous packaging and warehouse experience is required.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 55lbs and move 165lbs occasionally
- Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours per day
- Effectively multi-task, critically think and have problem solving capabilities
- Computer literate/comfortable using Google platform
- Experience driving a forklift
- Work a flexible work schedule with little supervision
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Hard work ethic and positive attitude
- Must be able to communicate effectively
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of materials for production
- The setup, operation, and tear-down of a semi-automated can filler, bottle filler, keg filler, large format bottle filler, can filler, labeler and all associated equipment
- Accurate record keeping
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
- QA testing related to the packaging process
- Conducting regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of all packaging equipment
- Adhering to established safety protocol while promoting a culture of safety awareness
- Contributing to an atmosphere of teamwork within the department and throughout the company
- Communicating with other departments to ensure the needs of the packaging schedule and quality standards have been met
- Double checking of tank volumes, beer parameters, and scheduling requests related to the day's production needs
- Communicating department concerns, needs, suggest and implement process improvements.
- Work with warehouse coordinator on warehouse needs
- General housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned
