By 4:30 PM, you’ll have translated order details into tangible product, solved real-time issues, and kept production moving safely and efficiently.

The Opportunity

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a leading packaging manufacturer in Oklahoma City to hire Machine Operators for the 1st shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM), Monday–Thursday with occasional overtime.

  • Pay: $16.00/$17.00 per hour DOE
  • Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (OT as needed)
  • Environment: Fast-paced, hands-on, non-climate-controlled manufacturing floor

What You’ll Do

  • Operate production machinery following all safety procedures and standard work
  • Learn equipment functions and end-to-end production processes
  • Read and interpret blueprints and company paperwork to set up jobs accurately
  • Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments to maintain quality output
  • Continuously observe operations to ensure consistency and product integrity
  • Use hand tools with precision; apply strong manual dexterity
  • Enter order specifications and box dimensions into computer software
  • Keep your area organized, clean, and audit-ready
  • Cross-train on additional machines to support the team

What It Takes

  • Completion of New Hire Screening process
  • Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled setting
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout a 10-hour shift
  • Proficiency using a tape measure and reading blueprints
  • Commitment to safe, efficient, and quality-driven work
