Packaging Operator I

Follows Batch Records and cGMP guidelines while maintaining accurate documentation, clean rooms, and safe operations. Operates and supports packaging equipment for filling, labeling, packing, and wrapping products.

Job Description:
Operates and supports packaging equipment for filling, labeling, packing, and wrapping products. Follows Batch Records and cGMP guidelines while maintaining accurate documentation, clean rooms, and safe operations.
Responsibilities:

• Operate and assist with setup of manual and automated packaging equipment.
• Follow Batch Record instructions for primary and secondary packaging.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization of packaging rooms and equipment.
• Support material movement and reconciliation (chain of custody).
• Report deviations or issues to QA/Team Lead/Manager.
• Maintain GMP documentation and complete required SOP training.
• Participate in safety processes and follow all safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of packaging or manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow written instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
• Knowledge of cGMP/SOPs (preferred).
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and safety awareness.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 3 years in packaging, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or similar environment.
