    Job Description:

    Description of Role:

    Operator Filling Line are experts in operating equipment, machinery, and systems within their assigned area. They are responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products, performing machine operations and changeovers, and supporting the training of other team members.

    What are we looking for?

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High school diploma, GED or equivalent education

    • 1 year experience in manufacturing

    • Prior experience operating packaging machines

    Physical Requirements:

    • Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)

    • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling and gripping

    • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces

    • Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift).

    • Ability to read, write and speak English

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment

    • JDA and ATLAS knowledge or other warehouse management systems experience

    • Experience maintaining accurate inventory records

    • Forklift certification

    What will be your Key Responsibilities?

    • Performs activities and job tasks within a manufacturing line or area

    • Operates equipment and changeovers in a safe and efficient manner

    • Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level

    • Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments, and malfunction troubleshooting

    • Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM)

    • Performs quality control (QC) tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, etc.

    • Maintain accurate records of quality check and keeps detailed logbooks

    • Any ad hoc tasks
