Packaging Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a Packaging Maintenance Technician to join our Hutchinson, MN team. 

Pay: Starting at $45.00- $50.00 per hour based on experience

Shift: 6:00AM to 6:00PM, with some rotating weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and troubleshoot all operational, utility and maintenance related issues as it relates to the preventative, routine and emergency maintenance of production/packaging equipment and some building maintenance.
• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration, etc.
• Able to follow written instructions for assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

• 2 – 3 years previous maintenance experience preferred or equivalent skills in a food processing plant.
• Experience with Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) equipment and other packaging equipment strongly preferred. 
• High degree of attention to detail, precision and follow through.
• Able to pass Forklift License Certification.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to travel to both Hutchinson and Clara City locations.

Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to skill set and depth of experience.
