    Description

    Overview

Help us turn raw materials into shelf‑ready, accurately coded products by operating a suite of bottling and packaging machines. You will keep the line running smoothly, ensure precise labeling and shrink sleeving, and uphold food safety standards every step of the way.

    A day in this role

    • Start your shift by receiving the daily production schedule and materials from the lead. Stage components and confirm you have everything needed.
    • Load caps into the capping machine hopper, bring the line up, watch for irregularities, and fine‑tune speed and cap tightness. If performance drifts, stop the machine and alert the lead or supervisor.
    • Set up the labeling cell: load label rolls, align for placement on bottles, and configure the Domino printer with the correct lot, manufacturing code date, and expiration date. Print two test labels and obtain lead approval before running.
    • Run automatic labelers and, when requested, switch to manual labeling equipment. Continuously monitor operation, make minor adjustments, and report any malfunction promptly.
    • Prepare the shrink wrap station: load shrink film, set conveyor speed, sleeve length and placement, and, when needed, adjust the heat‑seal tunnel temperature. Observe performance and intervene if anything looks off.
    • Keep materials moving: load and unload raw ingredients, assemble cartons and boxes using a tape gun and/or plastic bags, and palletize finished cases.
    • Handle specialty tasks: inspect Flo-coated products for correct descriptions; unload product to clean containers (grind and/or sift if needed); weigh and seal product, adding silica bags between plastic bags when required; confirm target weights and pack correctly; label the outside of containers with code number, product name, and weight.
    • Maintain cleanliness and food safety: clean and sanitize production food‑contact surfaces and equipment; clean unloading and grinding machines; ensure all utensils are cleaned after use; keep your work area organized.
    • Run to target: operate equipment to meet production goals using HR x HR tracking, scan materials whenever they move to keep inventory accurate, and record downtime and process interrupters.
    • Communicate with other operators and packers to coordinate output and promptly notify the Production Lead/Supervisor of any safety, quality, or downtime issues.
    • Follow our departmental procedures and contribute to improving them. Maintain production logs and complete required production and quality checks.
    • Be flexible: you may be asked to assist in other production departments and to perform other duties as assigned.

    Safety and standards

    • Follow GMPs and all company safety rules.
    • Actively support our safety culture by identifying, reporting, and helping correct unsafe conditions.
    • Set up, operate, adjust, troubleshoot, diagnose, and help maintain all production equipment you are assigned.

    What you bring

    • Proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
    • Experience in food manufacturing or a similar regulated production environment.
