Many of our leaders started in production roles and grew their careers within the organization.What You'll DoAs a Packaging Coordinator, you will help oversee day-to-day packaging operations while supporting production employees, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on time.Production & Packaging Coordination

Coordinate daily packaging activities to support production schedules and customer delivery requirementsMonitor workflow and staffing to ensure efficient packaging operationsVerify materials, job specifications, and SAP information prior to and during productionHelp ensure packaging operations meet productivity, quality, and efficiency goalsSupport staffing coverage, break schedules, and workforce allocation throughout the shiftAssist supervisors in meeting departmental goals and production targetsMaintain a strong sense of urgency while balancing quality, safety, and performance expectations

Quality & Customer Satisfaction

Monitor packaging operations for defects and quality concernsEnsure customer specifications and quality standards are consistently metPerform and support hourly quality checks and inspectionsIdentify, correct, and escalate non-conformance issues when necessaryPartner with Quality Assurance and production leadership to maintain product qualityEnsure proper documentation, pallet identification, and labeling accuracy

Team Leadership & Communication

Provide day-to-day guidance and support to packaging employees and temporary team membersPromote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environmentCommunicate production priorities clearly across departments and shiftsAssist in training employees on packaging procedures, quality standards, and best practicesSupport employee development and reinforce standard operating proceduresFacilitate smooth shift transitions through effective communication

Safety & Continuous Improvement

Support and enforce all company safety policies and PPE requirementsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentIdentify improvement opportunities related to productivity, quality, and workflowAssist with process improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practicesTroubleshoot operational and workflow issues in real timeSupport continuous improvement efforts across the department

What We're Looking For

Experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, fulfillment, warehouse, distribution, or related operationsPrevious lead, coordinator, trainer, team lead, or supervisory experience preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneouslyStrong decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced production environmentPositive attitude and team-oriented mindsetStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to delegate tasks and support employees effectively

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing throughout the shiftFrequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 poundsOccasional sitting, bending, and stoopingAbility to work around moving machinery and production equipmentAbility to work 12-hour shifts

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED preferred3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, fulfillment, production, or related environmentsPrevious leadership, coordinator, trainer, team lead, or supervisory experience preferredComparable industry experience will also be considered
