Job Title: Packaging and Warehouse Team Lead
Location: Waco, TX and Bellmead, TX
Salary Range: $25-$30
Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee our packaging and warehouse operations. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in manufacturing, packaging, warehousing, or distribution environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team to achieve extraordinary performance and continuous improvement in all aspects of warehouse operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Associates degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production, warehouse, or distribution management
- Experience in managing inventory control, shipping and receiving, and material handling processes
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a multi-disciplined team
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SAP, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), or other ERP systems
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Manufacturing Excellence, or Warehouse Excellence programs
- Basic financial awareness and understanding of labor productivity, inventory carrying costs, and budgeting processes
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Provide extraordinary leadership and set clear strategic direction for the operational area
- Engage, motivate, and encourage the team to deliver outstanding performance
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on warehouse productivity and efficiency
- Ensure effective flow, storage, handling, and distribution of materials while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, and shipping
- Drive warehouse organization through 5S and visual management principles
- Coordinate material flow between production, packaging, warehouse, and distribution functions
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality control, and inventory integrity standards
- Handle people management activities, including performance and development management, training, and recruitment
