Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX(Remote). The ideal candidate will develop and support scalable SaaS applications, integrations, and enterprise solutions while driving technical leadership and cross-functional problem solving.
Rate Range: $50/Hour to $57/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and enterprise applications using Spring Boot, Kafka, and Redis.
Configure, support, and optimize SaaS and packaged applications, ensuring system stability, performance, and successful release management.
Implement and manage API integrations and leverage low-code solutions to meet evolving business requirements.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, and guiding architecture and design decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform root cause analysis and deliver scalable solutions for complex technical challenges.
Work closely with engineering and business stakeholders to improve application reliability, drive continuous improvement, and support cloud-based initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Oracle PL/SQL, AWS, and Spring Boot.
Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications in cloud-based environments.
Proven ability to work in Agile teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $57.00 per hour
