StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Post-Acute Care Facility Medical Director for a leading national physician services organization in a SNF setting in Laurinburg - Whiteville, NC.

Position Highlights:- Serve as dedicated Facility Medical Director per CMS F-Tag 841 for one or more SNF sites
- Provide on-the-ground clinical leadership: physician coverage assurance, on-call backup, escalation pathway
- Round on a focused attending panel (typically 30-50 patients) alongside leadership duties
- Lead QAPI, infection prevention, antibiotic stewardship, and survey readiness for the facility
- Mentor and supervise on-site APPs and rotating attendings
- Partner directly with the Director of Nursing and Administrator on clinical operations
Qualifications:- BC in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
- Prior SNF / post-acute experience strongly preferred
- CMD credential preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfort with regulatory compliance, MDS, PDPM, and survey response
- Active state license (or eligible) and DEA where applicable
- Board Certification: yes
