    Arizona Surgical Physician Assistants (ASPA) is a growing surgical first assist practice dedicated to providing exceptional operative support to orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgeons throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.

    We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a strong surgical background who is passionate about patient safety, surgical excellence, and delivering outstanding care in the operating room.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

    • Current Arizona license (or eligible for licensure)

    • DEA license (or eligible)

    • Current BLS/ACLS certification

    • Minimum of four  (4) years of recent surgical experience in orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, and/or neurosurgery

    • Strong surgical first assist experience is required

    • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills

    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical environment

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Surgical first assisting in orthopedic, spine, and neurosurgical procedures

    • NO Hospital rounding and perioperative patient management

    • Coordination of patient care with surgeons, hospital staff, and multidisciplinary teams

    • Accurate and timely documentation
