What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and manage patients with a variety of gastroenterology and internal medicine issues
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop patient care plans
- Request consultations from other specialties when needed
- Provide patient education on preventive care and treatment options
- Document all evaluations, procedures, and education thoroughly in compliance with standards
- Prescribe and monitor medications relevant to patient diagnoses
- Assist with emergency interventions as required
What You Need
- Valid NY State License and BLS certification
- 3+ years of recent clinical experience in gastroenterology or internal medicine
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with medical team members
