P&C Field Services Technician Area: Remote (Nationwide) — 80% Travel to Job Sites Shift: Field-Based, Project-Driven
Job Summary:
Test and commission Protection & Control systems on high-voltage substations (15 kV – 500 kV)
Perform hands-on protective relay testing using Omicron CMC 256/356, Doble F6150, and similar test sets on SEL, GE, Basler, and Beckwith relays
Conduct control scheme testing, CT/PT circuit verification, settings uploads, and static/dynamic relay testing
Test medium and high voltage equipment including circuit breakers, power transformers, and instrument transformers
Apply NETA, IEEE, and NFPA testing standards throughout field work
Use testing software such as ProTesT, Protection Suite, ENOSERV RTS, Omicron Test Universe, and AcSELerator Quickset
Document field activities through logs, sketches, digital tools, and mobile applications
Report directly to Project Lead or Field Supervisor on site
