Our client is a boutique project management and owner's representation consulting firm known for delivering strategic solutions across a diverse portfolio of commercial, government, industrial, healthcare, mission critical, hospitality, multifamily, and mixed-use projects. They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support continued growth within their data center practice. This Senior Project Manager will play a key role in project execution, client management, and the expansion of mission critical work. The Senior Project Manager will be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, diversity of thought, and long-term career development.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage data center projects from planning through completion
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Oversee project scope, budget, schedule, risk management, and reporting
  • Provide owner's representation services on mission critical and data center developments
  • Coordinate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and end users
  • Support the continued growth of the company's data center business
  • Conduct site visits and attend meetings at project locations and the corporate office
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other project management tools to track project performance
  • Mentor and collaborate with internal team members as needed
  • Represent the organization professionally while maintaining strong client relationships

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, or similar construction management professional
  • Strong data center project experience is required
  • Background with a General Contractor is required
  • Owner's representation experience is highly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead complex construction projects and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with regular travel to project sites in Northern Virginia
  • Team-oriented professional who values partnership, accountability, and collaboration
