Owner & Medical Director, 4-Day Week, $120K to $180K+

A full-service companion animal hospital in the Kansas City metro is hiring an Owner and Medical Director Veterinarian with a defined path to co-ownership.

The caseload is 100% dogs and cats, with advanced surgery referred to a specialty partner. The role includes leadership and partnership training, a Clinical Skills Academy, and peer support from a network of 200+ doctor partners.

Key Highlights:

• Four-day week including regular Saturdays, no on-call, closed Sundays and major holidays
• Defined path toward co-ownership and partnership through an Accelerated Leadership Path
• Digital X-ray, dental radiography, in-house IDEXX labs, and ultrasound
• AI scribe software for SOAP notes
• Leadership and partnership training programs and a Clinical Skills Academy
• Peer group support from a network of 200+ doctor partners

About You:

• DVM or VMD from an accredited school
• Valid Kansas veterinary license, or eligible
• At least 1 year of small animal experience
• Proficient in routine soft tissue surgery and dentistry
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication skills
