Summary

The OverwrapSupervisor is responsible for leading daily Overwrap operations while ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to customer specifications and quality standards.

This hands-on leadership role provides direct supervision, coaching, and operational support to production employees while partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams to achieve productivity, quality, safety, cost, and delivery goals.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily Overwrap production activities and department performance.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop production team members.
• Ensure production schedules and customer commitments are achieved.
• Coordinate staffing, workflow priorities, and resource allocation.
• Monitor productivity, downtime, waste, efficiency, and overall performance.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production reports and communicate operational updates to leadership.
• Support equipment reliability and preventive maintenance initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality, Shipping, Inventory, Facilities, IT, and Production teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, company policies, SOPs, ISO standards, and security procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment.

What You'll Bring

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, printing, or production environments.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience required.
• Experience working with overwrap, packaging, or finishing equipment preferred.
• Printing industry experience preferred.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, ISO, OSHA, or continuous improvement programs is a plus.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management systems.
