We are currently seeking a reliable and observant Security Officer to join our team. This role primarily involves outdoor foot patrol duties, including monitoring parking lot activity, deterring unauthorized entry to the building during off-hours, and overseeing contractor access to the property, The Verve Hotel in Natick. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol the property on foot, walking multiple flights of stairs throughout each shiftMonitor for suspicious activity and report any incidents or maintenance concerns
- Restrict unauthorized access and engage with the public in a confident mannerMaintain a visible presence to provide reassurance to residents
- Write detailed reports of daily activities and incidentsRespond promptly to emergencies or alarms
- Ensure all building access points are secureQualifications & Requirements:Prior experience working overnight security shifts is a plus
- Ability to walk for extended periods and climb stairs regularlyStrong observational and communication skills
- Comfortable addressing individuals and setting boundaries professionallyExperience in residential security is a plus, but not requiredCandidates local to the area are strongly encouraged to apply
