Overnight Residential Instructor$18.50/hourSTAR, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our residential team as Overnight Residential Instructors. Through a commitment to inclusion, independence, and freedom of choice, we work to empower each person to reach their fullest potential.What You'll DoAs an Overnight Residential Instructor, you will provide support throughout the overnight hours and into the morning. Responsibilities include:Monitoring and checking on residents throughout the overnight shift according to their individual plans and needs.Responding appropriately to any needs or situations that arise during the night.Completing household duties and other assigned tasks while residents are sleeping.Assisting residents with their morning routines and preparing them for the day ahead.Providing personal care assistance when needed.Preparing breakfast and helping with morning household routines.Providing transportation to day programs or other activities when necessary.Communicating and working closely with evening and morning staff to promote consistency and continuity of care.The work you do each night plays an important role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming home for the individuals we support. Even the smallest moments of assistance can have a meaningful impact.What We're Looking ForSuccessful candidates will have:A high school diploma or equivalent.A valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.A caring and compassionate approach to supporting others.The ability to recognize and encourage the potential in every individual.A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.ScheduleAwake overnight shifts generally run from approximately 11:00 PM to 9:00 AM.
