We’re hiring a dependable Overnight Pet Care & Cleaning Specialist to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in thorough cleaning, and genuinely loves caring for dogs.

The Reality of This Role

This is a hands-on, physically active, and cleaning-intensive position. A large portion of each shift involves deep cleaning, laundry, dishes, sanitizing pet areas, and preparing the facility for the next day.

You will also monitor our boarding dogs overnight and respond calmly and appropriately when a pet needs assistance.

What You’ll Do

As part of our overnight team, you will help keep our facility clean, organized, and ready for the next day while ensuring our boarding dogs remain safe and comfortable.

Responsibilities include:

• Deep cleaning and sanitizing playrooms, kennels, suites, and common areas
• Washing dishes, laundry, and pet bedding
• Restocking supplies and keeping work areas organized
• Performing routine overnight safety and wellness checks
• Monitoring boarding dogs and responding to their needs
• Following established cleaning, safety, and pet-care procedures
• Documenting concerns and communicating important information to the incoming team
• Helping create a calm, clean, and welcoming environment for every guest

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Is comfortable working independently overnight
• Can remain active throughout the shift
• Is detail-oriented and takes pride in thorough cleaning
• Enjoys working around dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities
• Is comfortable with hands-on cleaning, including pet waste
• Can follow established safety procedures and instructions
• Brings a caring, professional, and team-first attitude
• Communicates openly and honestly with teammates
• Remains calm and uses good judgment when unexpected situations arise

Schedule

This is a part-time overnight position.

Available shifts may include:

• 7:00 PM–12:00 AM
• 9:00 PM–6:15 AM

Weekday and weekend availability is required. Candidates must be available to work overnight shifts based on business and scheduling needs.

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and remain active for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Safely handle dogs of different sizes and energy levels
• Work around barking, pet hair, cleaning products, and pet waste
• Complete repetitive cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the shift

Requirements

• One to three years of relevant work experience preferred
• Previous pet-care, cleaning, custodial, kennel, or overnight experience is a plus
• A valid driver’s license is required for employees assigned to the 9:00 PM–6:00 AM shift
• Must be at least 18 years old
