Overnight mobile patrol security guard job with Signal of Omaha. You'll drive between client properties and do foot patrols at each one, watching entrances and restricted areas, responding to alarms and reporting anything suspicious.
Pay: Starting at $17.50/hr, with raises as you complete training
Schedule (overnight / night shift; hourly, part-time or full-time as applicable)
- Rotating schedule, $17.50/hr: 6:30pm–6:00am
- Housing Community Patrol, $20/hr: a higher-risk site, bulletproof vest provided. Sunday–Wednesday 7:00pm–5:00am; Thursday–Saturday 7:00pm–7:00am

Requirements
- Entry level: previous security experience is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Able to pass background checks and meet any state or local security licensing requirements that apply
- Able to walk and stand for long periods during overnight hours
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Able to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies
What you'll do
- Do continuous foot and mobile patrols of assigned properties through the night
- Monitor entrances, exits and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized entry
- Spot and promptly report suspicious behavior, safety hazards and security breaches
- Keep accurate, detailed logs of security activities, incidents and observations
- Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies and incidents
- Assist employees, visitors and contractors while enforcing site security policies
- Work with local law enforcement or emergency services when needed
