A Mechanic will be responsible for providing overnight shift coverage and must demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities across all areas of facility maintenance. The role performs preventative maintenance on major equipment and building systems. In addition, includes guest rooms, meeting spaces, front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house areas, as well as kitchen, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Candidates should have a minimum of three years of building maintenance experience and possess a solid working knowledge of all major building systems, including life‑safety systems. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one to three years of general maintenance, facilities, hotel engineering, or related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and respond to urgent situations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, & holidays
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks.
