Thursday - Friday and Sunday: 8:30 PM - 6:30 AM

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer - Site Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively monitor premises, prevent loss, and respond to emergencies while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Duties
- Ensure all officers on site understand the post orders and foot patrols.
- Work well with the community to provide a positive collaboration with security.
- Monitor and patrol on foot assigned areas (throughout the building, stairwells and community rooms) to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Prepare detailed reports when conducting hourly foot patrol rounds on incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences.
- Ensure there is no illegal activity on the premises, conduct ban & bars, trespass warnings, and uphold 10:00PM curfew.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor during conflict management situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Attend on-site training for full understanding of post orders.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have an active Utah Guard Card
- Must be able to maintain site-specific security orders
- Must be able to pass a background check & drug test
- Must have a working and functional smartphone with data to conduct reports
- Must own personal transportation or have reliable transportation to get to and from work
Education:
- High school diploma or GED is required
