Overnight Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities: Implement and follow Behavioral Support Plans and de-escalation techniques as trained. Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, hygiene.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and follow Behavioral Support Plans and de-escalation techniques as trained
• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, hygiene
• Monitor, document, and report on client behavior, incidents, and progress
• Prepare basic, nutritious meals based on individual dietary needs
• Support residents during behavioral outbursts while maintaining a safe environment
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training
• Light housekeeping

​Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• CPR/First Aid (preferred or willing to obtain)
• BA/PCM certified (preferred or willing to obtain)
• Previous experience in Intensive Behavior
• Previous experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Ability to remain calm and use de-escalation techniques during behavioral incidents
• Ability to prepare simple, balanced meals
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• ADP Training (preferred)
• Pass a background check
• Valid Driver License and clean driving record
• Car Insurance/Tag Registration
• Reliable
• Report to work on time
• Neat and organized
• Pay attention to detail

Hourly Rate: $17 an hr.
