Implement and follow Behavioral Support Plans and de-escalation techniques as trained
Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, hygiene
Monitor, document, and report on client behavior, incidents, and progress
Prepare basic, nutritious meals based on individual dietary needs
Support residents during behavioral outbursts while maintaining a safe environment
Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training
Light housekeeping
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or GED (required)
CPR/First Aid (preferred or willing to obtain)
BA/PCM certified (preferred or willing to obtain)
Previous experience in Intensive Behavior
Previous experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (preferred)
Ability to remain calm and use de-escalation techniques during behavioral incidents
